I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BS in Political Science in 1965 and a MS in Clinical Psychology in 1971.
Before opening my practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Dayton, Ohio, I worked in both child guidance centers and hospitals as a Child Mental Health Therapist. I have experience working in public schools and the Catholic Social Services with children, couples, and families. I have also worked in private psychiatric practices treating both children and adults.
I have training in Psycho-dynamic Therapies, Gestalt Therapy, Family Therapy and Energy Psychology. I am also trained to work with patients with cancer and heart disease as well as those with other chronic or catastrophic conditions. I am holistic in my approach, which includes the consideration of all areas of functioning including physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, behavioral, and environmental.
